Tonight Bloomberg's Peter Burrows went on Charlie Rose and talked about how Apple has really become a victim of its own success.
No kidding.
I completely agree that the antenna issue has really been blown out of proportion. It's a design flaw but the product does not deserve that kind of bashing. At the same time though, it just shows how Steve Jobs doesn't understand how to play a sizable market. Putting up a slide that talks about < 0.55% (roughly 1 in 180) and being adamant about how that is a small percentage of users affected, that's just down right childish and disugusting. Think about this, the odds of picking 3 out of 5 in the California lottery is 1 in 300 (almost twice as unlikely) and the pay out is a meager $6 per winning ticket this week. Or how about this, if your Intel processor malfunctions once every trillion instructions, your computer breaks every 1/2 a second! Doesn't he understand 0.55% is alot of people who shlled out $400. Once again it proves that Steve Jobs is a big time jerk.
